The courses are targeted to produce skillful manpower in different
disciplines of education. They acquire sound knowledge in the respective
fields and contribute for national development. B.Ed. one year course
comprises of a total of 600 marks designed to complete in one year.
However some additional months are expected to complete the practice
teaching and case studies which are mandatory
Centre for Population and Development (CPAD) was established under JAMC
enhancing research, training and academic programme in the field of
Population and Development Studies. Master’s degree in Population and
Rural Development is being conducted in CPAD.
CPAD offers 4 Semester Master of Science Course in Population and Rural Development. The essence of the course is targeted to produce human resource appropriate to work in policy making, programme implementation and monitoring and evaluation from grassroots to central level Besides a number of common courses, the Population and Rural Development is focused on the rural economy and rural resource management as well as have the thrust on poverty issues, rural-urban and overall development.
